Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless chicken thighs
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 12 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into 1-inch pieces and season lightly with salt.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, cornstarch, and chicken broth to make the sauce.
  3. Dice the onion, slice the bell peppers, and mince the garlic.
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same pan, add remaining oil, then sauté garlic, onion, and bell peppers for 2–3 minutes until slightly softened.
  6. Return chicken to the pan, pour in the sauce, and cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
  7. Serve hot, optionally garnished with sliced green onions or sesame seeds.
