Description

A delicious and easy recipe for cheesy garlic chicken wraps, perfect for quick meals or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 flour tortillas (8-inch)
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook 5–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest 5 minutes, then slice or shred.
  2. In the same skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 30–60 seconds until fragrant. Stir in Italian herbs and remove from heat.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese with half of the shredded cheeses and 2 tablespoons garlic butter. Stir until smooth.
  4. Lay tortillas flat. Spread cheese mixture in center, top with chicken, and sprinkle with remaining shredded cheeses.
  5. Brush outside of wraps with garlic butter. Heat clean skillet to medium and cook wraps 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
  6. Cut diagonally and serve hot. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Wraps can be assembled up to 24 hours in advance and refrigerated.
  • Warm tortillas slightly before filling to prevent cracking.
