Description

Crispy and flavorful garlic parmesan wings that are easy to make and perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings (fresh or frozen, thawed)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (fresh recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and baking powder. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer.
  4. Bake the wings for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  5. While the wings bake, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat, add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Stir in Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes. Remove from heat.
  7. Transfer the crispy wings to a large bowl, pour the garlic butter sauce over them, and toss to coat. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and chopped parsley before tossing again.
  8. Arrange the wings on a serving platter and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

  • For extra crispy wings, let seasoned wings rest uncovered in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours before baking.
