- 1–2 fresh lemons, thinly sliced
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- Fresh basil leaves
- Crushed red pepper flakes to taste
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
- Slice 1-2 lemons paper-thin and remove any seeds.
- Mix 3 tablespoons of olive oil with 2 minced garlic cloves and a pinch of salt in a small bowl.
- Stretch or roll the pizza dough into a 12-14 inch circle on a floured surface.
- Brush the dough surface with the garlic olive oil mixture, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Dollop small spoonfuls of ricotta cheese evenly across the pizza.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella over the surface and arrange the lemon slices on top.
- Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Transfer the pizza onto the preheated stone or baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with 1-2 teaspoons of honey or maple syrup.
- Scatter fresh basil leaves and arugula over the hot pizza.
- Let the pizza cool for 2-3 minutes before slicing it into 8 pieces. Serve warm.
