Description

A rich and flavorful seafood boil sauce perfect for enhancing shrimp, crab, and lobster dishes, ready in just 15 minutes.


Ingredients

  • Butter
  • Garlic
  • Lemon juice
  • Old Bay seasoning
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Paprika
  • Brown sugar
  • Onion powder
  • Black pepper
  • Salt
  • Bay leaves
  • Thyme
  • Parsley
  • Hot sauce
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Melt 2 sticks of butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Add 8 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Stir in 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning, 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1 tablespoon paprika, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon black pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add 2 bay leaves and 1 teaspoon dried thyme. Simmer until fragrant.
  3. Pour in 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, and 1-2 tablespoons hot sauce. Add 1/4 cup chicken broth.
  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes for flavors to meld.
  5. Remove bay leaves and stir in 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • This sauce freezes well for up to 3 months; thaw in the refrigerator before use.
