Ingredients
- Butter
- Garlic
- Lemon juice
- Old Bay seasoning
- Cayenne pepper
- Paprika
- Brown sugar
- Onion powder
- Black pepper
- Salt
- Bay leaves
- Thyme
- Parsley
- Hot sauce
- Worcestershire sauce
- Chicken broth
Instructions
- Melt 2 sticks of butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Add 8 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning, 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1 tablespoon paprika, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon black pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add 2 bay leaves and 1 teaspoon dried thyme. Simmer until fragrant.
- Pour in 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, and 1-2 tablespoons hot sauce. Add 1/4 cup chicken broth.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes for flavors to meld.
- Remove bay leaves and stir in 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
- This sauce freezes well for up to 3 months; thaw in the refrigerator before use.
