Description

A comforting and easy cheesy tater tot casserole featuring ground beef, creamy soup, crispy tater tots, and melted cheddar cheese. Perfect for a quick family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned and crumbly, about 7–10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Stir in the condensed cream of mushroom soup until well combined.
  4. Transfer the beef mixture into a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Arrange frozen tater tots on top in a single layer.
  6. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese evenly over the tater tots.
  7. Bake for 30–45 minutes, until tater tots are golden brown and heated through.
  8. Let the casserole sit for a few minutes before serving.
