- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 40 Saltine Crackers
- 1 cup Salted Butter
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 cups Ghirardelli White Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Line a 10 x 15 baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick spray.
- In a small bowl, whisk together sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
- Place saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Combine butter and brown sugar in a saucepan, stirring frequently, and bring to a boil. Keep stirring continuously for 5 minutes after boil is reached.
- Pour the mixture over the saltine crackers and spread evenly.
- Place the pan in the oven and bake for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let sit until the crackers settle, just a minute or two. Using a butter knife, push any crackers that are overlapping back into place. Then immediately sprinkle white chocolate chips over the top.
- Let sit until you are able to spread the melted white chocolate chips over the saltines.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the melted chocolate.
- Cut or break into pieces to serve the churro saltine toffee.
