- 1 tablespoon Dry Italian Seasonings
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Thyme
- 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 2 cloves Garlic
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare two baking sheets with cooking spray.
- Slice a large, firm head of cauliflower into 3/4-inch thick steaks and arrange them on the baking sheets.
- Coat each cauliflower steak with avocado oil and sprinkle with sea salt, black pepper, and dry Italian seasonings.
- Roast the cauliflower steaks for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning.
- While the cauliflower is roasting, slice the mushrooms and mince the garlic. Combine with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Spread the mushroom mixture on a second baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or sauté for 5-6 minutes.
- Once roasted, top each cauliflower steak with shredded mozzarella cheese and the mushroom-garlic blend.
- Return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh thyme and serve warm.
