  • 2 large chicken breasts (approximately 1 pound total)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 whole wheat tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • ¼ cup ranch dressing (optional)
  • Olive oil spray or cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into thin strips. In a mixing bowl, combine garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken strips and toss thoroughly until evenly coated in the seasoning.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes to ensure optimal cooking temperature.
  3. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the seasoned chicken strips in a single layer. Cook for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken and lay out each whole wheat tortilla. Place a layer of fresh spinach leaves, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese followed by the cooked chicken strips.
  5. Roll each tortilla tightly to enclose the filling. Spray the outside of each wrap lightly with olive oil spray.
  6. Place the wraps seam-side down into the air fryer basket. Air fry the wrapped tortillas at 375°F (190°C) for 2-3 minutes, or until the tortillas are crispy and golden brown on the outside.
  7. Remove the wraps from the air fryer, let cool slightly for ease of handling, slice each wrap in half, and serve with ranch dressing if desired.
