Description
A hearty and creamy casserole featuring jumbo pasta shells filled with seasoned ground beef and rich cheese, perfect for weeknight dinners.

- 12 oz jumbo pasta shells
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta shells until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, half the mozzarella, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooked beef to the cheese mixture and stir well.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Stuff each shell with the beef mixture and place in a greased baking dish.
- Top with remaining marinara and mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or cayenne to the beef mixture. Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
