Description

A crunchy and tangy dill pickle Chex mix recipe that is easy to make and perfect for snacking.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups corn Chex cereal
  • 4 cups rice Chex cereal
  • 2 cups mini pretzels
  • 2 cups pita chips, lightly crushed (bagel chips may be substituted)
  • ½ cup canola or vegetable oil
  • 5 tablespoons dill pickle juice
  • 2 tablespoons dried dill (adjust to taste)
  • 1-ounce packet dry ranch seasoning and salad dressing mix

Instructions

  1. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the corn Chex, rice Chex, pretzels, and crushed pita chips. Stir to mix evenly.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the oil, dill pickle juice, and dried dill until well combined.
  3. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients, stirring to coat evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the mixture and stir again to ensure all pieces are seasoned.
  5. Microwave on high for 5 minutes, stopping every minute to stir and scrape down the sides of the bowl.
  6. Spread the mixture onto a large baking sheet to cool completely.
