Description

Tender steak bites coated in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for a quick dinner or appetizer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • lb top sirloin steak, cut into bite-size pieces
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter (preferably with canola oil)
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes
  • Fresh chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat a large cast iron skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Season steak bites with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear steak bites in the hot skillet until all sides have a nice crust. Remove steak from skillet.
  4. Melt butter in the same pan.
  5. Add red bell pepper and sauté until lightly charred and tender.
  6. Stir in minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant.
  7. Return steak bites to the skillet and stir to coat them thoroughly in the garlic butter sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Best served immediately.
  • Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat gently in a skillet with a little butter.
