  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (almond or peanut)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix rolled oats, whole wheat flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together maple syrup and nut butter until smooth, then add this mixture to the dry ingredients.
  4. Fold in dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
  7. Allow to cool for about ten minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. Cut into squares once completely cooled.
