- 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 oz sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup marinara sauce, warmed (for dipping)
- Extra parmesan for sprinkling
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and salt in a small bowl.
- Unroll pizza dough and stretch into a roughly 12×8 inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
- Brush half the garlic butter mixture over the dough. Sprinkle mozzarella evenly, leaving a 1-inch border. Layer pepperoni slices over the cheese. Sprinkle with parmesan, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
- Starting from a long side, roll the dough into a log, pinching the seam to seal.
- Slice the log into 12 equal pieces. Place cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet, spaced apart.
- Brush the tops with the remaining garlic butter mixture.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly, sprinkle with extra parmesan, and serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
- For a cleaner cut when slicing the dough log, use unflavored dental floss.
- If the rollups brown too quickly, tent them with foil during the last few minutes of baking.
