Description

These S’mores Magic Cookie Bars capture the essence of campfire s’mores with layers of graham cracker crust, a rich cookie base, gooey chocolate chips, and fluffy marshmallows. They are easy to make and perfect for any skill level, offering a nostalgic taste of childhood summers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Crust:
  • 10 sheets Graham Cracker Sheets
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • For the Cookie Layer:
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • For the Topping:
  • 1 cup Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 2 cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9×13 inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. Combine crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl until resembling wet sand and press into the pan.
  3. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in one bowl; in another, cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then add egg and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
  4. Fold the flour mixture into the creamed mixture until just combined; spread the cookie layer over the crust.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate chips and mini marshmallows over cookie layer; drizzle with sweetened condensed milk.
  6. Bake for 22-27 minutes until edges are golden brown and center is slightly soft.
  7. Cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes, slice into squares, and enjoy!

Notes

  • For enhanced stability, pre-bake the crust for 5 minutes before adding the cookie layer.
  • Allow cooling time for best texture.
  • Store leftover bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the refrigerator for a week.
  • To freeze, wrap each bar tightly in plastic wrap and place in a freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months.
