- For the Bread:
- 1 loaf Brioche Bread
- For the Topping:
- 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, whole milk, evaporated milk, 3/4 can of sweetened condensed milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and sea salt until smooth.
- Immerse the brioche bread cubes in the custard mixture, gently folding until thoroughly coated.
- Transfer the soaked bread mixture into a greased 12×8 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips over the top, if using.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, until golden-brown and a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
- Drizzle the remaining sweetened condensed milk across the top while it’s still warm.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
